While this character is unorthodox for Smash Bros., You should consider at one point that characters like Pac-Man and Duck Hunt Dog were at one time were thought to be inconceivable and look how they become

I'm sure the Crusade team can think up a clever move set for Susumu

I think I personally would like to see Taizo Hori playable before his son.
