Disconnecting from host

Ok so, when I join my friend's lobby it doesn't let me join it and just says "Disconnected from host"

We've had this problem for a couple of days already and our internet connections are fine

If you guys can help us out I would greatly appreciate it!

Both of you have to make sure you have the latest download from Gamejolt. Delete what you have right now, and download the game from here:

Has all the latest patches, and when you're not patched up, you get the error you're getting now. Don't forget to unblock the game and hamachi/evolve if you're not port forwarded.

I've done that already and it still happened with the patch

We use Hamachi and we didn't have this problem before on 0.8 and the before 0.9 version

Ok if you'd like, find me on the chatroom one of these days or anyone else really, and try to figure out what's not to blame, one step at a time. Get on with someone else you haven't played with yet, ask someone with ports forwarded to host and you join. Then try with hamachi again with a stranger. If you're still having trouble getting in, then I don't know where to go from here. Wait for a dev, but make sure you try these steps first, and if you already have, let us know.
