PH I've uploaded Fleep's fix for Fox's Shine directly to dropbox. All that's been added is special = 0 on the jump cancel, so that you don't automatically Shine again if you're holding special.

By the way, you can fast fall just by holding down rather than tap it. Is this intentional? I kind of like it.

In terms of AI, here's what I got thus far:
-CPU Pac-Man doesn't control his Final Smash for some reason. He just goes straight forward depending on which direction he's looking.
-CPU Goku doesn't attack AT ALL! He just moves around...

So far I'm really enjoying the new version. As much as having Classic mode would have been nice, I'm glad we've still got online and a ton of new characters and stages. The new sprties are beautiful for the most part, and the new characters are all unique and fun, even if some of them seem like low-tier material. That said, I have some stuff to report.

Not really a bug but, Klonoa's Uair and Nair (and I think Dair) have a ton of hit-stop, making them feel awkward when they hit.

* Klonoa's Uair also doesn't make a sound when it hits late in its active frames.
* Also, Klonoa's Side B seems to pass through enemies (or am I using it wrong?).
* Evil Ryu's second final smash is gone, in spite of all the needed sprites, etc. being present in the game!
* Also, I can't stand the English voice for him as it is A) Not great voice acting and B) much louder than most characters' voices.
* I had an awesome glitch happen as Bowser's Castle that was reminiscent of the Black Hole glitches from 64. Kirby somehow got down below the lava and started Shielding the lava at the exact same time that Tingle also ended up in the lava. Somehow Tingle was taking damage from the lava but not moving, and Kirby's shield stayed the same size as they continuously got hit by the lava. Then, the other CPUs, Crash and Bowser, joined in and got stuck in the lava as well. It was kinda hilarious. I'm not sure if it just had to do with the lava or the whole situation, but either way if it happens again I'll make a video.

Not a bug, but while we're on the subject... I'll actually have to echo some of what Fleep was saying - the game does feel a bit clunkier since momentum seems to be preserved in a much different way compared to 0.8 (or even 0.9T really), particularly for fast runners like Little Mac and Sonic. I was scared to run a lot of the time since I couldn't control my character if I had to do a running jump. I'll play around with guys like Wario and Jiggs and see if this is an issue for them too since they are supposed to be easy to maneuver in the air.

I'll also echo the fact that I miss the sound effects and the crowd. Some attacks just feel wimpy when they hit now since you can barely hear the hit effects. It always felt more like a "real" Smash game with the crowd involved. And I know we're trying to make the game more Melee-like, but I think the Brawl hit effects were more fitting.

Anyway, that's all I got for now. Very Happy I'll be back.

- The sprite of Mega Man's Rush Jet stays on the field after he's knocked off of it.
- The other color Links in Toon Link's FS don't show up when he actually performs it.

Olimar's D-Spec also does not function properly, nor does it sport the gfx associated with the Whistle in Pikmin.

I actually have played this for like, IDK, about 6-7 hours and this is what I have seen.

Hitstun and Shieldstun felt like between 64 and melee, and I like that. It felt just right, IMO. The removing of Manual L-Cancelling sounded like an odd idea, at first. But when I noticed that the landing lag got significantly shortened, I can see why you guys did that. I totally agree with that, and it keeps this game feel different than the other ones.

I know this demo version was mainly for character balancing, and added/removed mechanics here and there. With new things added in, there'll be new bugs/glitches, and we all know that. The big ones needs be taken care of first before any minor tweaks/additions/removals will ever be happening. I did see a lot of bugs/glitches that have already been told here, and I haven't seen any new ones, so far at least. There'll be new ones very soon, and I can guarantee you that.

Here's my advice, and I'm not forcing you on this one: Take a break from character balancing, and do all the bug/glitch removing, item/stage fixing and what not. I think you guys deserved a break from balancing characters, and I think it felt like a pain to get it just right, throughout all the trial 'n' errors everywhere on each and every character in this current demo.

I appreciate your time reading this, and keep on making this game as great as possible. Wink

I still don't see TLink's 2nd hit of fsmash. He swings once and then just moves forward while yelling the second time. Plus the hitbox seems to be his face. Not sure if this is just me.

^ Tested this on public build, it's just you. Weird, because since you reported it first i've tested it on dev build, balancer build, 0.9 right before uploading it, and again just now on the public 0.9. Never happened for me.

Okay, so after further play, I realized that NO hazards can hurt Pacman, or at least the Player 1 character. Not the Pokemon on Saffron City, not the Ghosts, not the falling Tetrominos, nope, zip, nada, NOTHING. The weird part is that they used to hurt as usual, and CPUs still get hurt like normal.

Also, AIs still run back and forth if an opponent is above them, and DK AIs still keep using Down-B until they are interrupted.

That's odd. I played as Pac-Man like 40 times and actually got damaged by stage hazards (including the ghosts and tetrominos). I also played as Player 1

Oddly, the puddles in Manhole meteor me as intended.

Also, if the Weegee Virus hits Pacman in the middle of his up B, he is permanently frozen in a hurt sprite and I am forced to quit the match.

EDIT: Okay, the ghosts just now decided they would hurt Pacman.

Not sure if it's been said or not, but pausing on Final Destination made a random colour take up most of the stage. (It may have been my computer...)

and, playing on Battlefield with 6 players, the waterfall was full of character silhouettes, it was Mario, Luigi, Peach, Toad, Yoshi, and Bowser that I was using. It was pretty weird!

But that's all I could find during my short time playing. I'll post more later once I play more.

For some odd reason Wright's final smash doesn't always hits. I used his final smash on Toad. Toad was caught in the attack and Wright's cinematic played like usual. Once he said Take That nothing happened. The screen returned to normal but Toad walked free as if nothing happened. Happened twice (both times with Toad who was a cpu by the way).

Ice effects still don't work?
AI suicides every time it's launched on green hill zone
Not sure if it's just me that can't load path to glory stage.

PH can you make a new thread so that we can have an updated OP with the known issues. They'll probably start getting repeated.

To be more specific, a CPU of Tails will sometimes randomly disappear and cause the game to lag like crazy (his player marker, like P3 or P4 or whatever, will still be there though). This has happened to me twice already (and yet I didn't screenshot it for some reason).

Started a template on the OP, any moderators and admins are now free to step in and start adding bugs to the OP. I have no time to do this myself at the moment, but i will later today if no one else works on it first. Also, a patch fix is probably coming out really soon since we've already fixed most known bugs and thrown in some balance and engine improvements to boot.

Nobody mentioned yet that Tingle's down b does nothing, lol. It will be good in the patch.

The only reason I didn't report Tingle's Down.B is because I thought the effect was something long lasting but subtle, like a touch more damage or knockback. I didn't play him extensively and when I did, it was a match with another friend. I only landed the hit once, and we were both confused.

Anyways, I have to test it again, but when Kirby absorbs Goku, the ability seems to be missing. It instead locks Kirby's movement for a bit and then recovers.

I finally found what was wrong with DHD's side special. If you use DHD's up special, you can't use his side special unless you use his neutral special afterward.

He screams PK STARSTOOOORMMMM as usual...but nothing happens.

You can still die when the match ends.

I was in a match and finished Weegee off with Pacman's FS. He did a screen KO, and I kept going to the upper boundary. When it said "Game!" Pacman did a screen KO as well, and lost a point and one of his stocks.
