USE WASD OR ARROW KEYS TO NAVIGATE TO OPTIONS -> CONTROLS

Set your controls up first thing. Use shield button to disable player 2 if necessary

ok im trying to join an online game but its giving me the error "cant set up udp socket"

Crusade's online does not work the same way as SSF2's. We aren't server based, but we are IP based like regular smash online is. You would have to connect to someone's IP address in order to play online with them.

Love the new characters; someone really needs to give Peach, Saki and the Samuses (Samii?) a resprite, kind of killed my suspension of disbelief. On the other hand, I love the new Chun-Li, Ryu and Mario Bros, and Little Mac may very well become my new main if Klonoa or Pacman doesn't beat him to it.

This is epic!!! The new characters, the stages, everything! Pac-Man probably became my new main (just as I hoped). I love the reference made to Pac-Man 2 in his down B (and the way how he yells "NOOOOOOO!" when it hits. Cracks me up every time Laughing

Is anyone else getting a visual error with the Excitebike stage, where everything but the foreground elements is completely black? :/

You're far from the only one getting those errors. A few of the stages in game have some errors that really ruin their playability.

What are the minimum requirements to play crusade are they different now because it won't start when I play it says that cannot make the drawing surfaces and that I should make sure my computer meets the minimal requirements and I should lower res.

What are you running, vintage Gateway running Windows 98? Most computers support DirectX nowadays, you just need to install it. Or your graphics drivers.

Is there a new DirectX version i need to install?

I would suggest to the developers to try and detect that DirectX is running and then warn the player before continuing to start the game.

UltraMikeManTheOP: You should be fine running DirectX9.

I just downloaded directX9.0c and still says the same thing.
I am going to PM an admin.

Yay, a patch! You guys are working really damn hard, I wish my computer was fixed so I could enjoy the experience, damn.
