Make a Roster 2: More Serious (Unfun?) Edition

So basically we're gonna make a roster to a supposed Disney fighting game. However, instead of shouting off random names like the last thread, we're gonna take a bit more serious approach/discussion to this.

Basically, it'll go similar to the last time the (actual) Crusade roster was discussed and chosen openly by the public. We're gonna choose characters by-series, and for each series we'll discuss if a series/franchise should get ANY characters, and if so, how many and which ones.

Lets start with the main Mickey Mouse series first. State which characters you'd like to see represent this one.

Current Roster:

I personally think that the Mickey Mouse franchise would be fine with just Mickey, Donald, and Goofy

I think Pete should be there to fill the antagonist role

Elsa all the way

I agree, Pete would be nice too fill that antagonistic role.

Are we going with size 80? We can easily go with four Mickey Mouse reps if we're treating it like the Mario series (without spin-offs)

We should try to limit it a tad. I'd say an absolute max of 40-50, even then it might be pushing it a tad.

But regardless, Pete is definitely a solid choice. He's actually been around before Mickey and he's appeared many times since. I'd be for him.

Is this the part where i suggest 10 different exclusive Kingdom Hearts characters?

But we're not discussing that series yet

If no one has any objections to the following characters...

1. Mickey Mouse
2. Donald Duck
3. Goofy
4. Pete

for the Mickey Mouse series, or if you want anyone else added, speak now or forever hold your peace

Pluto definitively deserves to be on that list too, As a character

pluto imo would work as an at not an actual character

imo Pluto would better work as part of Mickey himself or, as previously stated, an Assist of some sort

also i suggest that we dont take kh as a guide for who can and cannot fight just laying it out there everybody can kick ass yes even piglet

1. Pooh - The heavy weight powerdriver.
2. Tigger - The agile and damage-tacking speed demon.
3. Rabbit - The set-up and technical character. (Or Owl, or Gopher)
4. Piglet - The Pichu.

5. Kanga & Roo - Dual body character that is a cross between Ice Climbers and RosaLuma.

Since Mickey Mouse seems done and over with we can move onto Winnie the Pooh

Only character I'd like to see from Pooh would be Tigger

Really? No Pooh? Of course I was joking about Rabbit and Piglet, but I think we should at least cover both ends of the spectrum w/ the pooh cast, that is the powerful and the quick. Imagine his playstyle like Bowser or Ganon, or Shrek from Super Slam.

Pooh and Tigger are the best fits from Winnie the Pooh. Sure Tigger is more of a "fighter" but I doubt that should matter in a Disney crossover.
I add say the two of them and move on to the next franchise.

If we needed a Dwarf rep, I'd have to say either Dopey or Doc. Grumpy is good and all, but besides being a highly relatable character, he doesn't have much going for him. Doc would have mining expertise, using pickaxes and gems to get the job done. Dopey could be a gimmick character, using a Pheonix Wright-esque moveset.

Other than that, I'd say bring in the witch, but there's at least 5/6 sorcerer/villainous characters in disney, so maybe I should hold off.

Yeah I would say Dopey, no need to include Snow or the Queen though.

the huntsman would be a good choice i guess
i doubt snow and the queen would have much sense being in the roster but seeing as peach is in brawl i guess fitting snow in there wont be too weird

snow could control animals by singing and can use her voice as a means of attacking ( i.e sindel )

the queen could use magic and throw poison apples

the mirror is probably not a choice for a fighter but could be like andross as an at

as for the dwarfs anyone of them (i think 3 is enough ) could be a viable fighter because pick axes

grumpy ( a berserk kind of fighter ) sneezy ( can utilize his sneezes in combat ) and dopie ( clumsy fighter ) are my choices for the dwarfs

In my personal opinion I'd say that Snow White doesn't really need a character rep

Now that I think about it, we have the arsenal of Marvel and Lucasarts at our disposal. And Tron. Or would that make things too easy?
