| Okay, has anyone else noted one big problem with link's sprite? I mean something that doesn't match any other incarnation on link? Ever? Hint: look at how he holds his sword. (I'd put what it is, but I'm posting from a mobile, and can't use spoiler tags. |

| That he is holding his sword with his right hand rather than his left? Spriters' limitation. It would look weird if he was facing right and his sword be in his left. |

| This is more of an issue for Marth than for Link. Link is at least known to be ambidextrous |

| Face the other direction.
Problem solved. |

Canonically he's always left handed, but with a right-handed population the Wii games had to be right handed for ease of play. In Twilight Princess he is right-handed on the Wii, but left-handed on the GameCube, which proves this point. Despite this, no matter what hand you put his sword in it will always be wrong when you turn the other way, so nothing can be done about it. |

| If I recall correctly from Shadow Dragons and the Blade of Light, Marth is right handed anyway. But what would be so hard to put the sword behind the shield? It may not look as impressive, but at least he could function, right? (Part of my asking this is a learning thing. I'm planning on going into game design. It's easy enough to learn the overall process. It's the little things that are hard to find info on.) |

| making link have his sword behind his shield would make us need to resprite him completely to face the other direction, and it would double his sprites, making him turn into another character whenever he turns around.
I don't think that would be good for anyone. |

| He's not talking about different sprites depending on direction i think, just having the shield be closer to the screen in all cases. |
