| In this thread, I will provide the written feedback from the booth at Apex.
Top Players Note: JCaeser left no written response, will talk to Det himself apparently.
HungryBox - Fix momentum; Look at Brawl movement -> Good stuff!
Wobbles Ice Climber specific - Nana movement is a bit awkward - Nana did Side B while returning to Popo but Neutral B was pressed - Side B doesn't gain height - More range and faster smashes - Bair and Usmash especially need range - Up B is awkward
General - C-stick aerials out of tumble needed - Roll -> hold direction (left) -> now shielding in place but holding left -> Jump OoS. No aerial momentum gained in the held direction. When landing (still holding left), slid left in shield. When jumping OoS, momentum should have started in the held direction normally. When landing, there should not be a slide - Check weird buffer shenanigans - Don't make Snake Utilts (<- talking about overly disjointed range, especially when fixing Icies range. Brawl reference.) - Fix Ristar's N.B. (will address in balancer board) - Finicky B-reverses (look at Melee)
All other users - Really fun, recoveries seem a bit too good - Kirby is OP - Kirby Up Air too slow - P. Wright needs smoother battle mechanics. A slight speed boost wouldn't hurt! - Gliding feels a little wonky - Chun-Li hitboxes on normals larger - Lucario's hitboxes seem hard to see with animations - Make a more obvious tumble animation (helpless/falling) - Make more taunts/palette swaps - Kirby feels very strong - The game is great. I like how Ryu and Chun-Li have EX moves like in Street Fighter - Game is good but it would be better if Dante is in the game - Ashley is broken, lag - Snake Up B is weak - Crusade is fun and addictive, I will keep up with it to see how much better it'll get - I'm interested in testing the online and pleased you guys already have DLC planned - The roster makes this game very interesting - I think that the game needs more balance - If I try to l-cancel my character rolls right after. Maybe adjusting the buffer system? - Goku's beam is invisible near the end of the beam - Knuckles <3 - Tails is awesome, responsive controls and interesting moves - Level graphics look a bit choppy but awesome - Awesome game! It was kinda tricky to move/navigate in mid-jump though? Other than that I liked it better than Brawl/Melee. More like original. - AMAZING!!! - I feel Ganon's D-air needs to launch upwards if opponent is on the ground. Also, I believe Ganon's side-B should leave the opponent on the ground, not constant launch height - Goku = overpowered - Need Player Tags - Less dull color backgrounds of CSS teams - Mega Man Tornado Hold seems strong - Whenever you do an aerial it sends you in the direction, can't move toward and Bair - Pretty smooth controls, nice selection of characters - Animations are choppy and don't really serve to distinguish what move is being done - It is a fun game. The sprites are very small. Kinda hard to tell what's going on. Especially in a 6-man FFA - It was awesome. I like the ideas of it - Rayman throws strong as ffuuuuuuu - I need Rock Lee and Guy from Naruto and Ichigo from Bleach - More balance characters - Less knockback and more combos. Work on Bomberman's Up B. Nice game.
And now, Ya Dad - Pheonix Wright Ftilt too long to start - Kirby's power is kept after death - GREAT use of wavedash. Works really well - Jabs in general give too much knockback - Luigi's fireballs don't last very long - Samus' Down B has infinite recovery <-- Too much vertical Crusade is a difficult game to take competitively because of knockback, stage size and camera position (far back). The game is very fun and had me laughing most of the time. I think Crusade's direction should be more towards Mario party in that it's a really fun, quirky game to play with a lot of players to sit down and enjoy the experience. SSF2 is competitive, so it's important to the success of SSBC to divert from Flash 2's gameplay-style and aim more towards a party-style game. Overall, I really enjoy Crusade for what it is; the Mario Party of Smash. - P.S. - I'm on your forums, so feel free to contact me ^.^ |

| @Ya Dad's Wright statement. I noticed that too. The sneeze is one of his less useful attacks, and it functions the way it does because of the voice clip. If the clip were edited, it could probably be better.
Glad to see we got a lot of positive reception! |

I would have seen that if i was able to see the BB. Or the BR. Or see the chat. Also, yeah, we need a cstick. |

I mean, a proper way to do retreating fairs advancing bairs without losing momentum. |

| Felipe: got that down too. I've done a post Apex changelist and I looked through the comments as I made it to incorporate some of the better things said here. That has nothing to do with the C-stick it's a matter of momentum physics
Blue: No they don't. Tested it yesterday. Edit: Oh, mash B. I stand corrected. |

| --Sees Dante request --Notes that at the time of Apex, Dante had not ever been on a Nintendo Console
Also, are you going to release the Apex release as a teaser for 0.9, or is it too unstable and in development for a proper release? |
