| If its a Lord i will go Hector ( Axe User ) or Ephraim ( Lance User ) and if i had to choose any character i will go with Sothe ( Dagger + Hand to hand acrobatics ) reason for Sothe he playable in 2 games and in one ( Radiant Dawn ) Hector and Ephraim ( Only playable in one game and they are not the main protaginist Hector share the role with Lyn and Eliwood and Ephaim with is sister Erika ) . Sothe is really important to the story the problem about Sothe he will be in the shadow of Ike since Ike is more important that Sothe. Sothe is not a prince like almost all game protagonist ( Marth , Chrom , Roy , Eliwood , Celice ... ) he fight also with a Dagger witch is pretty unique also he sould be a fast character Marth is medium and Ike is medium-heavy . |

| Sothe's a tinny tiny minor character in PoR, and as a "main" character in RD he stands behind Ike and Micaiah, like you said. I don't think he's big enough to be considered here. |

| For Antagonist How about Hardin he is playable in one game ( Fire Emblem Ankoku Ryū to Hikari no Tsurugi or Shadow Dragon ) and the main antagonist of ( Fire Emblem Fire Emblem Mystery of the Emblem ) He also direcly connect to Marth ( Fire Emblem most important character ) he is a Heavy character ( None of the current character are Ike is little bit but Ike is not like Donkey Kong or Bowser ) He is a Lance User ( Marth Roy Ike fight with sword ) Hardin is probably the only Main Antagonist to be playable ( Zephiel is not playble Ashnard is not playable Nergal is not Playable Alvis and Julius are not playable Lyon is not playable in the main story but he can be unlock in Creature Campaign ) .

| Oops my mistake but Hardin is both a protagonist and a major antagonist if you can find me one other character who as that two point i will change my mind and Lyon is playble but not in the story the character need to have some importance in the Story as a playable unit and a major antagonist .

| Hardin's a minor protagonist at best. He's an important guy with a small army who joins Marth. That puts him on the same level as Medea and Minerva. |

Robin. To an extent, and I hope I'm not partially spoiling the game for anyone. |

| Alright everyone, here are some of the suggested candidates along with some info on them. I'll list them by game in order of release so that it's more organized. I tried to be as objective as possible with my summaries, avoiding bias and stating facts. If anyone wants to add to any of my summaries that's fine. Also, beware of spoilers since they were necessary in some cases in order to explain some characters' full potential. Alvis - Spoiler:
Alvis Wiki Page Alvis is a fire-wieding Sage and an antagonist of FE4: Genealogy of the Holy War. He is the current DLC candidate for Fire Emblem and currently has 8 votes out of a necessary 24 in order to win. The points in favor of his inclusion are the fact that he's a villain, a mage (rather than a swordsman), and from a game whose setting (continent) is currently not represented in any smash game. FE4 was a Japan-only release, but was apparently quite popular among fans of the franchise.
Hector - Spoiler:
Hector's Wiki Page Hector is a minor character in FE6, but is one of three major protagonists of FE7: The Blazing Sword. As a prequel to FE6, FE7 features a young version of Hector who specializes in offense and defense while wielding an axe (as opposed to a sword like the other smash FE characters). He is also from the same continent as Roy, though his importance to the story occurs far before Roy is even born. His play style would be very similar to heavy characters like Bowser or Donkey Kong, hitting hard and being durable at the cost of being quite slow, unlike Marth and Roy. He would likely be even slower and more powerful than Ike.
Ephraim/Eirika - Spoiler:
Ephraim as he appears in FE13 Ephraim's Wiki Page Eirika as she appears in FE13 Eirika's Wiki Page Both of these characters have been suggested for Crusade before, though in different forms and appearances. They are both the main protagonists of FE8: The Sacred Stones, and are fraternal twins. FE8 is the only game in the series that doesn't share a continent with the other games, and is currently un-repped in any smash game. I personally believe their FE:13 DLC appearances are the most unique versions of them compared to existing FE characters in smash. Either one can stand alone as a candidate, but it is also very possible to incorporate them as a tag-team as well. Both characters wield a Lance in this form, whereas veterans to smash all wield swords. Eirika can also wield a Bow as well as a Staff, both of which can make for a very unique play style for long distance attacks or healing/buffs, something none of the existing FE smash characters have at all. Ephraim simply has his lance, but he also wields a great shield and is very defense-focused. He would also be slower than Ike, and be very heavy like Bowser or Porky.
Lyon - Spoiler:
Lyon Wiki Page Lyon is the main antagonist of FE8. He is a Necromancer who wields dark magic. I have already argued Lyon vs. Alvis numerous times in the past, but the basic summary is that both are antagonists, both are magicians, and both are from un-repped continents. The difference is the games they are from; Lyon's game was released in both Japan and America, and is also a newer game. His game, however, is the only one in the entire series not connected to any other game. So they are both pretty much the same, it comes down to the fact that Lyon has officially seen an American audience where as Alvis has not.
Chrom - Spoiler:
Chrom's Wiki Page Chrom is the main protagonist of the newest and arguably the most popular game in the series, FE13: Awakening. He is a distant descendant of Marth, and the Prince of Ylisse. He wields the Falchion, a broadsword with the power to slay dragons (much like Marth, only Marth wields his Falchion as a Rapier). In terms of play style, he would likely fall between Marth and Ike in all of his attributes. He can also use Aether, which allows him to use both Sol (steals some HP from the foe) and Luna (ignore's half the enemy's defense/resistance stat) back to back, though not to be confused with Ike's Aether. As a Great Lord he wields the Fire Emblem itself as a shield, so his play style could easily be a sword & shield style unlike any other FE character in smash so far.
Robin - Spoiler:
Default Male Appearance Default Female Appearance Robin's Wiki Page Robin is also a main protagonist in FE13. Robin can be completely customized at the beginning of the game, and for ease of reference I will assume he is a male (even though Robin can also be a female). Robin is actually the tactician of Chrom's army, and wields both swords and magic at the same time. This can make for a unique play style that utilizes spells for long range attacks and a sword up close. He wields no particular sword or spell, but those can be decided on later if need be.
Lucina - Spoiler:
Normal Appearance Appearance under the guise of "Marth" Lucina's Wiki Page (Spoiler Alert! The wiki page has spoilers, so there's no point making my summary spoiler free) Lucina is yet another major protagonist of FE:13, though not as important as Chrom or Robin. She is Chrom's daughter form the future, come to prevent a calamity that occurs in her timeline. Initially she hides her identity by taking on the disguise of "Marth", in honor of the Hero King from ages past. As her disguise would suggest, she has a very similar fighting style to Marth, though she learned from her father and fights very much like he does as well. She also possesses Aether and Falchion, though hers is commonly called the Parallel Falchion despite being the very same sword Chrom Wields. The major points in favor of Lucina for Crusade are the fact that she's a woman (unlike every other FE character in smash), is a major character from the newest game, and has all of the same abilities that Chrom does (making her slightly more unique than Chrom in that regard).
Anna - Spoiler:
Anna's Wiki Page Anna is ordinarily a cameo character that has appeared in virtually every FE game to date, but in FE13 she is an actual playable character. She is a Trickster, specializing in deceptive combat with a sword and staff. She is also portrayed as a very cunning character with a wise-guy attitude. She is not a main character in any game, but the fact that she has had so many appearances and is also now a playable character make her a strong candidate for Crusade DLC. No matter what game you've played, Anna is likely a very recognizable character who has the potential to be a unique addition to the roster.
Validar - Spoiler:
Validar's Wiki Page I added Validar to this list because I figured it was only fair to include an antagonist from FE13. Validar basically has everything going for him that Alvis and Lyon do, but this time he's from the newest game in the series. He is a Sorcerer who wields dark magic, and is able to teleport at will (I'm sure Lyon and Alvis can do this as well).

| Those aren't the only reasons for Alvis' inclusion.
I had argued that Alvis was probably among Nintendos greatest villains in terms of backstory and plot in general. In my opinion, he's right up there with the likes of Porky. Sure, Alvis was only an important villain in one game, but that was an incredible game for the franchise (many fans regard it as one of their favorites, if not THE favorite) and a character from it is surely deserving of a spot in the roster. Who better than the interesting baddie? (We should have a villain for FE anyway, I'd think. Medeus may be important, but he's just a generic final boss type guy.) |

Medeus may be important, but he's just a generic final boss type guy.) There are already two other villains that have all or most of the same pros in favor of inclusion on the DLC roster, and I didn't even include others like Nergal. My point is that it doesn't really matter if it's Alvis, Lyon, Nergal, Medeus, or even Validar. The villains are all pretty much generic, and there's nothing anyone can do about that.
If Alvis became our FE DLC rep I would still be satisfied. Just remember that he's already on the poll, and losing horribly. Why not give a more relevant character a shot instead? If Chrom won this replacement poll I can almost guarantee he would come closer to the 24 votes needed than Alvis ever will considering he's flat-lined at 8 votes and the fact that this poll to possibly replace him even exists. |

Can't argue that Alvis is more unique than Chrom, though. |

| I'd vote Validar simply because he reminds me so much of Jafar, but I don't want to waste my vote on a troll vote.
But son of a...Hector, Lucina, AND Anna are all on the poll..... Gonna have to pick only one. I say Anna. At least we know Anna will appear in a new Fire Emblem. That, and she's seen as the series mascot, so it works out. |

| I'll stick with Lucina for now. Once SK tallies up the votes I'll vote again based on that, though if my memory serves me correctly we have 2 votes for Anna, one vote for Alvis, at least 2 votes for Chrom and my Lucina vote.
EDIT: Oh, and one Robin vote. |

| Dry, I'm sure votes are all going to take drastic changes once SK tallies the votes so far and people can actually see the current results for themselves. It happens all the time, and I can predict with confidence that Anna is going to shoot up in votes when that does happen.
In fact, I'll change my vote to Anna now. |
