Alright, Smash Bros series Candidate Cut Poll updated.

Ok, it appears that just about anyone who is interested in this topic had already voted and doesn't seem like any changes are being considered.

Therefore, I can now confirm that Master Hand, Tabuu, & Sandbag will all be cut from the Official DLC Poll. Thus leaving the Smash Bros. series without a playable rep (with the exception of Ancient Minister).


Now! Time to get started on a new poll.
Today, we will start the Final Fantasy Candidate Cut Poll.

The poll will be between Kefka & Chocobo.

cut neither. Both have a reason to be on, and while I would much prefer Kefka (I would have preferred him over WoL honestly) I wouldn't remove Chocobo because of that.

one or the other has to go regardless cause we can only have 1 DLC rep.

Fine. Cut Chocobo then. Kefka would be more interesting and is one of the best villains ever. Also, we lack clowns.

Cut Chocobo, keep Kefka.

Memorable Villain > "Meh" Series Mascot (with little-to-no combat experience outside of a summon or two)

I'd rather keep Chocobo instead of Kefka since he is the mascot of the series and more recurring. So, my vote goes to Chocobo for keeps

Cut chocobo. Gilgamesh may be the best option, though i wont campaign that yet as i still do love the Psycho Clown.

I think i´ll vote to cut Kefka, is he manages to be in the DLC, i think almost nobody will play him, so a character like that will not help much in this times, and Chocobo is a more carismatic character that people WILL bother to try...

You're certain that almost no one will play as a psychotic clown who was able to destroy the world, yet they'll bother to try a relatively uninteresting mascot who's mainly used for summons.

Don´t get me wrong, i mainly mean it because chocobo has his own games, and because he would be a more reasonable character, but of anyway, Kefka could have Pretty much posibilities for a moveset.
but anyway, i´ll vote keep Chocobo, For me it looks that both Kefka and Chocobo could be good candidates, but it looks like Kefka is winning (thought i think Chocobo is the one should be winning, because he looks more like the obvious candidate.)

This so very much. Most of Crusade's charm comes from the "out there" character choices. (ex: Porky, Petey Piranha, Tingle, Phoenix Wright (although I honestly think he'd get in before Mega Man), Ristar, Weegee ect.)
Kefka is less expected than Chocobo, so he'd fit right in with the rest of these guys.

Megaman has been in fifty, count'em, FIFTY games released on Nintendo consoles.

Megaman 1-7 were released on Nintendo consoles, he was born on a Nintendo console, and he is even more of a Nintendo-like third-party character than Sonic.

I feel like Chocobo's moveset could be hilariously amazing if given the proper time and love put into it. I'm always one for gimmick-y characters with "out there" movesets. And Chocobo could be one of the better ones hands down.
