Disney just bought LucasFilms, and now have full control of the Star Wars franchise. They have said that all current projects WILL go on, so no need to panic for 1313.
Lucas will stay as Creative Consultant for VII. This could either be amazing or awful. |

| And now, Sora will have to seal a keyhole in the Death Star for KH3. Secret boss there is Yoda, and in the final mix version, you'll get a new keyblade for beating him. |

| It's in Disney's hands.
Expect good movies.
Don't expect good Star Wars movies yet. We need more information. |

Do not even joke about such awesomeness. Okat then, I won't. (Y) I will chuckle if that ends up happening though, not gonna lie. XD |

Yoda seems more like a Summon IMO. Vader was actually my first guess for a boss. Yoda would make a fun little secret boss, though. Just imagine all the taunting he'll do. Although Yoda as a summon sounds too good to pass up. |

| I know it's cliched but i got a bad feeling about this. I love the Star Wars movies, But somehow i don't think this will be good. I've been wrong before, but i'm keeping my expectations low for this. |

| No expectations for me, I'll see the next one when it's released and make my opinion then. |

| The only way this could be good:
-Mark Hamil, Carrie Fischer, and Harrison Ford MUST be in it to some extent and be relevant. Otherwise, it will be too far off.
-Luke MUST see recordings from R2-D2 of Anakin choking Padme at Mustafar. It's in the expanded universe and would make an incredible scene.
-John Williams MUST do the music. The only other people that MAY be able to do it are Alan Silvestri, Joey McNeely (did music exclusive to the Shadows of the Empire game), or the guy that did Star Trek 2009. Also, it MUST be London Symphony Orchestra.
-Episode VII MUST be another breakthrough in film making. The original was, and heck, each prequel movie had some kind of way to push the envelope. The next trilogy must do more and we know Lucasfilm is more than capable.
-C-3PO and R2-D2 MUST be in it as main characters. It wouldn't be Star Wars without them.
-There MUST be soldiers in white. The only movie that didn't have them was Phantom Menace and that was a problem.
-There MUST be veteran planets. Tatooine, Hoth, Bespin, Coruscant, etc. Maybe stay away from Nabuu. It was lame.
-The design of architecture MUST be more similar to the original trilogy than the prequels. |

Episode III capped it off very nicely. Due to the EU it would be very hard to find a canonical timeframe that wouldn't be an adaptation, unless Disney ignores the EU, which they mustn't.
-Luke MUST see recordings from R2-D2 of Anakin choking Padme at Mustafar. It's in the expanded universe and would make an incredible scene. See above.
-John Williams MUST do the music. The only other people that MAY be able to do it are Alan Silvestri, Joey McNeely (did music exclusive to the Shadows of the Empire game), or the guy that did Star Trek 2009. Also, it MUST be London Symphony Orchestra. Agreed

-C-3PO and R2-D2 MUST be in it as main characters. It wouldn't be Star Wars without them. This would be possible, Threepio was shown in the EU to have lived long after Luke, as he died somewhere in the very distant future. We haven't seen the death of Artoo yet either, so it's very possible he is the same.
-There MUST be soldiers in white. The only movie that didn't have them was Phantom Menace and that was a problem. Racist
-There MUST be veteran planets. Tatooine, Hoth, Bespin, Coruscant, etc. Maybe stay away from Nabuu. It was lame. Vet Planets are a must. I'd be quite happy to see Naboo in the future. The design would lead to some awesome looking ruins.
-The design of architecture MUST be more similar to the original trilogy than the prequels. Not sure, the prequels were much more epic compared to the original. |

| I think seeing more Skywalker is very likely, as Lucas often says that's the point of the Star Wars movie.
To be completely honest, I think Lucas has always intended to have a third trilogy, but has been very secretive. I researched this last night... |

| Very happy with this, not because of Star Trek, or Lost, this is purely because of Alcatraz and Cloverfield.
I mean, Vader is the mother of all bad-guys, and Abrams proved his prowess with antagonists in Alcatraz. Also Cloverfield just because it was fudging baddonkey. |

| He's directing both Star Wars AND Star Trek? The apocalypse is coming.
Seriously though he doesn't seem like a bad choice to direct Star Wars. He is a big fan.
Also Zack Snyder is directing a Star Wars movie unrelated to Episode VII |
