Hasbro has sent a letter to the development team Mane6, which says that they must quit their development of their game Fighting is Magic (basically one of the biggest anticipated MLP fan games)

I find this funny that Hasbro NOW decides to send them a letter after they've done so much work in graphics, coding, and music (though I also do feel a bit bad, they had some great people working on that project)

Also marks another HUGE pony fan game project is down the drain (one prior to this was MLP Online, which I actually almost started spriting for at one point)

Though Mane6 says that they are gonna try reasoning with Hasbro but we'll see how that works out

I don't know why I find this whole situation hilarious


This is also solid evidence to not include a pony in Crusade, sorry Gigs I know you wanted one

Lauren Faust tweeted offering to help design characters for the Mane6 to continue their project (not pony OCs or anything, NEW characters), which would mean they could keep the engine and stuff just have to redo most graphics etc

technically if it stays in a private demo no one will give a crap

this is actually fairly impressive

a very good friend of mine had been working with people on whatever 3D MLP MMO was going on, IIRC he started development for it and made a huge chunk of progress before deciding to quit

i think it was called equestria online or something

From what I've heard, Mane6's head artist Elosande has left the team.
