| I'm bored so I figured why not open a discussion to discuss the Pokémon floats that should appear in Poké Floats 2 (confirmed "sequel" stage to Poké Floats from Melee). I think that we shouldn't include any Pokémon that were in the 1st Poké Floats and no Pokémon that will be playable in Crusade. I also think that we should stay away from Legendaries (since there were no legendaries in the first Poké Floats) and that we should try to focus the floats on generations 3-5, with maybe some 1 and 2 thrown in.
Here are the Pokémon that will be playable in Crusade at some point/already are:
Squirtle Ivysaur Charizard Pikachu Pichu Snivy Dewott Emboar Lucario Mewtwo Jigglypuff Zoroark Meowth (DLC) Deoxys (DLC)
If I'm forgetting any I apologize and you can mention those I missed.
Pokémon featured in the 1st Poké Floats:
Squirtle Onix Psyduck Chikorita Weezing Slowpoke Porygon Wooper Sudowoodo Snorlax Venusaur Seel Wobbuffet Unown Goldeen Lickitung Chansey Geodude
Looking at this list, there were roughly 18 pokemon that appeared. I figure that we shouldn't go too far above this as too many Pokémon would be overkill in my opinion. I think a good capping point would be 25 Pokémon maximum. But once again, this is up for discussion.
I'm thinking that for right now we should just post what Pokémon we'd like to see and then move on from there somehow. inb4 everyone just posts their favorite Pokémon...

| Just as a heads up, Meowth is also going to be DLC, and the other B/W Trainer Pokemon are Emboar and Dewott. |

I think it'd be better if it were Pignite and Samurott but WHATEVER |

| So we're looking at what Pokemon could be platforms?
The Spriters Resource has this helpful little page here so I can look at all of the Pokemon. So these are Pokemon I support for Poke Floats 2:
Metapod Vileplume Diglett Dunsparce Mantine Porygon 2 Pelipper Shedinja Camperupt Wailord (should be the last Pokemon before it stars over because he's so big) Metang or Metagross Torterra I don't particularly like a lot of the Gen V Pokemon, so I won't recommend any of them... |

| If there's going to be 25 floats, we should have 5 pokemon from each generation, not unbalanced numbers. |

| To be honest, IMO, 1st, 2nd and 3rd one are the best generations, but If we need to have all generations in Pokefloats 2, then, I guess, it's ok. |

I don't see much logic in that. First of all, some Generations (namely IV and V) were not nearly as well received as Gen. I, II, or III. We should choose Pokemon who would be unique and fun to fight on. There's no reason to lock ourselves into five Pokemon from each generation. We should have Pokemon from each, but we should stick strictly to any numbers. You've seen the character roster history - numbers don't work. |

| I enjoyed gen V more than III. Your opinion doesn't represent everyone. To be fair, all 5 should have the same number. |

| My opinion may not matter, but I'm pretty sure the opinion of sites like this do.
If one Generation has one or two more Pokemon worthy and viable enough to be part of the stage than another Generation, then there's no reason to hold them back. It's wasted potential. |

You've seen the character roster history - numbers don't work. There is logic on this, 5 floats for each generations is fair. DMX, in your opinion, only I, II and III deserve floats. This is wrong, Gen 4 and 5 were well recieved, here's some examples: http://www.gamespot.com/pokemon-platinum-version/reviews/pokemon-platinum-review-6207856/ http://www.joystiq.com/2012/10/02/pokemon-black-and-white-2-review/ http://www.gamerankings.com/ds/960100-pokemon-soulsilver-version/index.html Just because they didn't get perfect scores, it doesn't mean they should be completely ignored. Also the differences between Ruby and White score is roughtly 0.5. I'm not trying to make a flamewar.

Omg who cares It's gonna be a bunch of oversized Pokemon sprites on a sky backdrop you twat, stop stressing over it Also you're going on and on about how reception matters and how some things are more worthy than others, yet you're citing IGN (one of the least credible and most widely hated gaming news sources on the planet) |

| I came here to suggest Pokemon, not to wipe up the tears of Zoroark and Lucario fan boys.
Now, let me SUGGEST these Pokemon again: Metapod Vileplume Diglett Dunsparce Mantine Porygon 2 Pelipper Shedinja Camperupt Wailord (should be the last Pokemon before it stars over because he's so big) Metang or Metagross Torterra I don't particularly like a lot of the Gen V Pokemon, so I won't recommend any of them... |

| So you are suggesting 3 from I, 4 from II, 3 from III, 2 for IV and 0 from V. Any way those are good suggestions I guess. Also I don't like Zoroark. |
