Well, everyone. It appears I have become a misfit, and misplaced.
Most people who I hadn't liked, the competitive fans, had been placed into high positions, and most people who I know (as well as I) have changed.
I don't appear to have much of a role here, and at that I've received a lack of respect.
Excalibur wrote:

Do you want to know why I made that thread?
It was to see your reaction.
To see what you'd think.
To see how you'd reply.
Now that I've seen your reaction, I've realized that it's of disrespect for me.
Some of you know me on youtube, some of you know me on other places. Talk to me if you wish to, I'll also be on equestriaforums.com, a forum that I cannot say, and Ginger's Retreat.
Looking back, my closest friends were Plasmis, who has my Hamachi address and is also on Youtube, and El Maiz, who appears to have been lost from here.
I'll probably come on sometimes. But most of the times I'll be gone, and my absence probably won't account to much.
As for Rayman, I'll probably still work on him as I'm still a fan of the game, just won't post all the updates.
So. I guess I'll see you. Inb4hatereplies

Quote :
Well, everyone. It appears I have become a misfit, and misplaced.
You brought this upon yourself for making idiotic and pointless arguments and complaining about how you can't play a game competitively and casually.

Quote :
Most people who I hadn't liked, the competitive fans, had been placed into high positions, and most people who I know (as well as I) have changed.
Most people being Excalibur. He's the only one on the balancing team with any moderating privileges. The rest of the "competitive" people are on the balancing team because they know how to play competitively. And aside from Excalibur, being on the Balancing Team doesn't mean you're in a "high position".

Quote :
I don't appear to have much of a role here, and at that I've received a lack of respect.
Nonsense. You're exceptional at character discussion and debating about who should be on the roster. You've lost respect by trolling other users and being annoying and disrespectful. Being casual doesn't mean you can't get along with those who are competitive, it just means you play games for a different feeling of "fun". I'm very competitive and get along with you just fine when you're not doing things purely to piss me off.

Quote :
Now that I've seen your reaction, I've realized that it's of disrespect for me.
That's because you've been trolling and pissing off Excal for weeks now and disrespecting him. As Excalibur said to me, respect is something you have to earn. When you start doing things that people find respectable you will earn respect, like I have.

Quote :
Looking back, my closest friends were Plasmis, who has my Hamachi address and is also on Youtube, and El Maiz, who appears to have been lost from here.
What happened to Golden and I? Just because I'm competitive and Golden banned you for meme-spamming means we're not of your closest friends in the community?

In short, don't leave. Shape up. Start earning back all the respect you've lost over the past few months. And last, but not least, stay with us.

This sort of stuff has worked to get DMX back multiple times. It's generally a good strategy.

Notice that I mixed complements in with critical stuff. I actually did mean that you're really good with roster debates. And I really do mean that you have to get your head in gear and stop being annoying.

I'll talk with Excal, since he seems to be your biggest problem; stay until I've at least had a chance to.

You think YOU'VE feel unrespected, how do you think I feel? You ignore my previous warnings, and you've defied me and literally DARED me to punish you. Not only that, but you then accuse me of being a hater and act like you're going to be a martyr for the "Power of Friendship".

What that tells me, is that not only do you not think of me as a superior (which I'm not trying to make people view of me), but you don't think of me as an equal. What you've shown, is that you feel that I am BENEATH you.

As said before, respect is earned, not recieved for nothing. I don't demand respect, but disrespecting me is another story. As Det said, when you're in your right mind, you help out a lot in this community. Again, like Det said, all you need to do is shape up and go back to the way you used to be. Before the corruption of gingersretreat. Honestly, that place is a cancer, and I'm lucky to not have been severly affected by it.

EDIT: And one more thing; you need to grow up and stop taking everything as a personal attack. Case in point, the Pony issue. I never said you couldn't like them or you couldn't be a Brony. I only stated that you couldn't have them as an avatar or sig, nor could you post pics or vids of them. You took it as I was attacking YOU, and responded in a childish manner.

Look, we all have hardships we have to overcome in life. If this is how you react over an overglorified meme, then you're going to have Hell overcoming TRUE hardships. It's time to shed the child innocense and start shaping up into manhood. I will help you if you will let me.

Hey! You know I never lost respect of you in the first place! In fact, you're still the same person except that you seem to be hindered by some negative aspect. Heck, I never lost faith in you, and you shouldn't lose it yourself. Do not forget, we're in this together as a team and as friends, so if there's any problems you can always consult to us, and we'll settle it no matter what!

Generic has a point though, I never supported him or helped him as much as I could and grew distant with him. Nevertheless, Gerneric, this is no reason to leave, certainly you must have been iritated by that pony prohibition, but it was no personal attack. As a matter of fact we here respect you and, if there is someone who dislikes you, like Excal, there are always those who value you for who you are.

Sorry for growing distant with you.

Alright, Generic.
I'm speaking to you as a friend.

Don't leave because of this. It's just a show, albeit a good one, but still a show. You shouldn't disconnect yourself from some of your old friends just because of it, as real people are more important than fictional ponies. People will always have different points of view, and you have to accept it; not everyone can have the same opinion. If we all did then life would be pretty boring, no arguments or anything Razz

Overall, the choice is yours, but I'm going to challenge you to stay here and take this experience and learn from it.

I actually was only able to skim the post, as I was in a hurry, so I'll go into detail now.

Quote :

I said I hated the competitive fans, which I had referred to as obsessors. When Leo said that Competitive>Casual, I remarked that competitive would equal casual, if it weren't for the "obsessors" who tended to say this. All the time.

Well, there's Leo IIRC. Yoh somewhat. And Red is meh.

Quote :

Nonsense. You're exceptional at character discussion and debating about who should be on the roster.
Thanks, but I've been told on occasion that I'm rather biased. Not just from P7 and DMX either.

Quote :

Golden flames too much to be a close friend, and you're a much more complex deal.

1. I am a child, I'm only 13.
2. And I disagreed with that rule. Freedom of speech.
3. I could somewhat understand you saying that we can't talk about them, but just not having them as a sig or avatar? That was tolerated on the older forum.

As said above, I live my life into phases. And I've already gone onto a hardship before, thank you, losing my closest friend a while ago, actually making me go onto forums.

I feel like I should make a finalizing statement here, but I have none...

Excuse me? That was barely an insult. Especially compared to you saying "STFU" "GTFO" and "GENE[CRAP]" to me. And the "Hell yes he's leaving" that's invisible to the naked eye, only visible by quoting you adds to your hate towards me.

I wish you luck, concerning whatever you decide to do from this point onwards.

It's your opinion on whether or not you don't like the people who are WILLING to put THEIR time into balancing this game.

If you honestly don't care for balance in games, go play some unfinished gamemaker/flash game of some sort, and leave be the people who were assigned their duty for making this game fair to some extents.

As all has been said before, you've brought this upon yourself so if you're trying to sap sympathy from the unknowing, then get a grip you damn bozo and move on from the past.

Again, you're being a hypocrite by saying I flame too much, when you've been instigating problems here with Lugia on the basis that "he started it on gingers!". As I've said repeatedly, what happens in other places does not apply to this place.

Not only that, but I don't necessarily flame as much as I deliver the cold, harsh, truth. If you aren't willing to accept it, that's your own problem.

Also, 13 is when you start to grow up, my point still stands. I am willing to help you through this, as face it, growing up SUCKS. But we all have to go through with it, instead of cowering away with "I'M STILL A CHILD" like you are. 13 is the time to begin to man up. I'm not saying you'll be grown up overnight, I'm saying that it's time to start working towards manhood.

Oh, I care for balance in games, just not ones that bring back Melee's "Advanced Techniques".

Do you think that you've been a perfect moderator, though? I feel that you've actually been abusing it(albeit not that much, and only in spam IIRC). For example, editing AEM's post to change it from something about Geno I believe into saying you're right. And a post in the counting thread saying that "Waah, I'm gonna cry because I can't post ponies" or something of the like of editing my post.

AND THAT IS WHERE YOU ARE COMPLETELY INCORRECT.

I never mentioned bringing back those AT's (applying Golden's post to mine, we can make an option for that stuff) . And the fact that you're so damn biased WHEN SOMEBODY WAS TELLING YOU WHAT SOMETHING IS MAKES ME COMPLETELY SICK TO MY STOMACH. I mean how retarded can one person get? We tell you what the difference of being a competitive player and what being a casual means and you gives us your definition; ALSO INCLUDING HOW REDUNDANT YOUR DEFINITION WAS.

If you even GO to SWF, you shouldn't even be disagreeing with our point. I mean really, they have topics stapled up in those areas; it's not that hard to find.

Now that you have COMPLETELY wasted my time arguing with your damned self, I shall leave while standing tall.
